J.D Brown is a veteran tattoo artist with over 20 years of experience, originally from St. Louis, Missouri. He began his journey in the industry at the legendary T-Doggs Tattoo, where he developed his craft and laid the foundation for what would become a lifelong passion. Now based in Palm Bay, Florida, J.D. is known for his versatility and artistry—though if you ask him his favorite style, he’ll always say, “the next one I get to do.”

J.D. is also the creator of the phrase “Ink Your Life,” a deeply personal motto that speaks to his philosophy on tattooing. To him, tattoos are more than ink—they’re a timeline. Each piece marks a moment in someone’s life, a memory—whether joyful or painful—and he considers it an honor to help people commemorate those moments through art. As J.D. puts it:

“You are a Savage. You made it through it all. So as an artist that gets to create artwork for you to have all throughout life that is an honor.”

Outside the studio, J.D. enjoys playing disc golf and spending time with his kids, living a life full of creativity, connection, and movement—just like the tattoos he creates.
